The wonderous Gesha coffee. Originally an old Ethiopian coffee varietal, the Gesha was brought to an experimental coffee garden in Costa Rica. It was distributed to a few small farms for testing. Not much was thought of it until one of the farms, Esmeralda in Panama, separated the varietal from others and entered it into a competition. It's safe to say minds were blown from that point on! Gesha's unique qualities make it a very sought after varietal. One that is very difficult to grow. These guys in Guatemala have been growing Gesha on their lot for years, more and more, it gets better every year. Please enjoy!
